Web 2.0 News is a “social” news aggregator for technology news which brings latest Tech News based on social media popularity.

Web 2.0 News is developing an algorithm to catch the news which are most shared across Twitter, Facebook, Digg, Delicious, Google Buzz and Reddit. MySpace and FrienFeed will be added to the algorithm ASAP. The aim of the algorithm is to estimate which stories will be a breaking-news (most-shared). Some regression calculations and mathematical models are being added to the algorithm to estimate a breaking story based on very short time (30 minutes to 2 hours) – activity after it’s published.

This project is in a very early stage which we call “Public Alpha” and we need a lot of help. All investors, advertisers and any individual or group who wants to create synergy are welcome.
